How far do you travel, and do you offer destination bookings?
I travel throughout the UK and am also available for destination weddings. For locations requiring more than two hours of travel, overnight accommodation is kindly requested to ensure I arrive feeling rested and fully present on your wedding day. All travel and accommodation arrangements are thoughtfully discussed and confirmed as part of your bespoke booking. This also gives you peace of mind, knowing I am not delayed or held up by traffic accidents or road closures.
Can I have my design appointment (trial) before I book?
It’s completely natural to want reassurance before securing your makeup artist. Due to high demand, design appointments are offered once your wedding date has been confirmed. Upon booking, you’ll be invited to a personalised skincare consultation so we can thoughtfully prepare your skin ahead of your design appointment. If it’s helpful, I’m always happy to arrange a relaxed phone or video pre-consultation to talk through your ideas, inspirations, and any concerns before you commit.
How do you accommodate larger bridal parties?
For larger bridal parties, I work with a small, trusted team of selected artists who support me in delivering a seamless and consistent experience. Following your enquiry, you’ll receive a personalised quote booklet outlining proposed timings, allowing me to thoughtfully assess how many additional artists may be required. Final details are confirmed at your design appointment, and I liaise closely with your planner or hairstylist (if I’m booked for makeup only) to ensure the morning unfolds smoothly, calmly. I typically schedule everyone to be ready around an hour before the registrar meeting or departure for the ceremony. Please do let me know if your photographer or videographer requires additional time, and this can be thoughtfully accommodated.
I don’t usually wear much makeup, but I love your work — will I feel comfortable having my makeup done?
Absolutely, my approach is all about enhancing your natural beauty and helping you feel like the best version of yourself. We aren’t transforming you into a bride; we are collaborating to create the bridal version of you. I take the time to understand your preferences and concerns and guide you through the process at a gentle pace. How many weddings do you take in one day?
I only take one wedding booking per day, dedicating 100% of my attention to each bride to ensure a deeply personalised and special experience. By focusing on a single wedding each day, I can be fully present, delivering consistent, high-quality artistry while creating a supportive and serene atmosphere for you and your bridal party.
